Hotel Rooms & Suites

Lovely place, elegant and with a tranquility one only finds where the house is cared for by someone with a passion for details.

We enjoyed playing billiards, sleeping well, eating and drinking well and listening to the host telling good stories. Thank you!

With only 8 double rooms and suites, Geilo Mountain Lodge is one of Norway's smallest hotels. A stay with us will be experienced as majestic, unique, personal and exclusive.

Together with activities in the two beautiful national parks that surround us, the cozy and tender atmosphere with top-class food and drinks will give you a stay you won't soon forget.

All our suites and double rooms are beautifully decorated with quality beds from Dux and Jensen, and hand-sewn bedspreads and curtains. Here, body and soul can have a well-deserved rest after a long day out in the mountains, or some strenuous sessions around the conference table.

All rooms have delicious bathrooms with submerged washbasin in travertine plate or freestanding English porcelain washbasins and English-style taps. All rooms have rainfall showers with glass doors and French bath towels with Mulberry hemper.

- Deluxe Double Room -

With magnificent views over Geilo and Ustedalen, you can find peace in our delicate and spacious Deluxe Double Rooms.

- Sigrid Suite -

The Sigrid Suite is located in the original part of the house from 1917 and is named after Sigrid Uthus, as the house's founder and first chef. This spacious junior suite is spread over 2 levels and has an extra room for sleeping or as a wardrobe.

- Olav Suite -

Olav was Sigrid's husband and had a hand in the game everywhere in Geilo. This suite, named after him, has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a balcony and a lovely view over Geilo and Ustedalen.

- Top Suite No. 10 -

Any self-respecting English mansion must have a reference to No Downing Street. 10. Our Top Suite spans most of our top floor and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa corner with a real English fireplace.
