Geilo Mountain Lodge is the perfect mansion for carrying out various celebrations together with the extended family. The icing on the cake is if you spice up the gathering with fun and cozy activities that the whole family can do together. We have set up an imaginary 3-day inspiration stay that shows a little of what the destination has to offer. There are of course many other activities to take part in, and we are happy to tailor a stay based on your wishes and dreams.
Day 1 - Arrival day and excursions in the local area
The Bergen Railway takes you from the center of Norway's two largest cities in just 3 hours. Travel comfortably and green! Sit back, find peace of mind and enjoy beautiful scenery on one of the world's most beautiful train journeys. We'll pick you up at the train station!

Check-in, Refreshments, Activities in the local area
Before dinner you have several options. For the cross-country skiing enthusiast, you can take a trip on the illuminated track. For the slalom enthusiast, you can take a few rounds of evening skiing in the ski resort. Or - you can simply sit in the library and enjoy some of the many coffee-table books available there, accompanied by a glass of something good.

Day 2 - Memorable mountain day at the hunting lodge
Up in the mountains at Ustaoset we have our delicious hunting cabin "Hallinghi". We take the car up to the center of Ustaoset and from there we sit comfortably in the sled after the snowmobile and are driven all the way up to the cabin. Here there will be coziness and fun for the whole family; fireplace, storytelling and lunch. There will be tobogganing from the roof and a snowshoe ride. And there will be skiing for those who want to try it. All while those who want can sit on the terrace and watch it all with something good in a glass in front of the bonfire. And of course real mountain SPA, with sauna and jacuzzi.

Wake up to a great view over Geilo. Enjoy the morning with a home-made espresso in bed and some morning quality time together, before you stroll down to breakfast.

Meeting at reception and departure from Geilo Mountain Lodge. We drive up to Ustaoset.

We get on the snowmobiles and are transported up to Jakthytten at Skarveheia.
