It is not always appropriate to run up one mountain peak after another. Physical limitations should not be an obstacle to explore this beautiful village. We have set up an imaginary 3-day inspiration stay that shows a little of what the destination has to offer. There are of course many other activities to take part in, and we are happy to tailor a stay based on your wishes and dreams.
Day 1 - Arrival day and excursions in the local area
The Bergen Railway takes you from the center of Norway's two largest cities in just 3 hours. Travel comfortably and green! Sit back, find peace of mind and enjoy beautiful scenery on one of the world's most beautiful train journeys. We'll pick you up at the train station!

As a short afternoon trip, you can stroll the 300 meters away to the center of Geilo. Here there are shops and also cozy cafes where you can have a cup of coffee etc.

Day 2 - Trip to the hunting lodge at Ustaoset
Up in the mountains at Ustaoset we have our delicious hunting cabin "Hallinghi". We take the car up to the center of Ustaoset and from there we sit comfortably in the sled after the snowmobile and are driven all the way up to the cabin. Here there will be a log fire, storytelling and lunch. If the weather cooperates with us, it can be a hot toddy out in the sun too.

Day 3 - Dog sledding & Art walk
Dog sledding is a fantastic activity in which the whole family can join. Sit in the sled or stand behind and feel the cooperation with the clever Alaskan huskies.
