Four-Course Mountain Gourmet Dinner

Dinner is one of the highlights of a stay at Geilo Mountain Lodge. Each evening we serve a seasonal four-course mountain gourmet menu inspired by ingredients from the surrounding mountains, forests and fjords.

Game, fish, berries and herbs from Hallingdal and Hardangervidda form the foundation of the menu, which is served in the intimate atmosphere of our historic dining room.

Geilo Mountain Lodge has seasonal closure between October 20th and November 10th. 

Restaurant opening hours:  Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 18.30 - 23:00. We serve aperitifs from 18:30 and has table setting at 19:00. 

 I want another day: For groups of more than 6 people, we accept reservations on other days of the week. Send us a request in the form. 

During the holidays the restaurant has extended opening hours. 

Menu & Wine Recommendations

We set up a new 4-course local tasting menu every day. Price is NOK. NOK 985 per person ex. drink. We also put together our own children's menus and adapt dishes for allergies. Please contact us if you would like information about the menu on a specific day.

Wine recommendations: We set up wine recommendations for the menu. Cellar's Bestbuy is a selection of the cellar's fabulous wines, at a completely normal price. Lodge Premium are top cuvées from outstanding producers. Here we often end up in the old wine world and districts such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Ribera del Duero and Tuscany.
